Bryan,
your friendly host at Waterlilly Lodge, has been in the hospitality
industry for over three decades.
While the bulk of his career
was spent with South African Airways (SAA) as a steward,
he started out by working for Holiday Inn, under the famous
Hans
Enderly, in 1974.
He then moved to the President Hotel, where he trained
as a chef in the Transvaal Room (considered one of the finest
restaurants in South Africa at the time) and simultaneously
attended Hotel School. His jet-setting 20-year-stint at SAA,
including a promotion to First Class, then followed.
Over the years, Bryan has also run his own Bed and Breakfast
establishment, a silver service restaurant as well as a 14 bedroom
hotel.
His hobbies include cooking and gardening.
Blessed with a deft
hand in the kitchen (his mouthwatering breakfasts at Waterlilly
are legendary), Bryan will ensure that your stay at the Lodge
is an imminently comfortable and memorable one.
